I love that this password manager uses Google's AutoFill system for Android. Fast, secure, and private. The improvement cadence is especially impressive given they are such a small shop. This has become my password manager across my Google devices and I am very impressed.
easy to use and off to a great start. when it gets all the features or the main password managers, it good be the best.
LastPass was starting to get a little flaky - and then Minimalist came along. Minimalist is very Android native. I had some issues which were rooted in my own foolishness with iCloud and Jeffrey was right there with suggestions - so often software support contact is like iffy, if ever, but my experience here was great. BTW - my issue was fixed and the app is working fine.
It’s unclear if they will try to use their early pricing as a bait and then force users to pay more like 1Password. Don’t trust another developer trying same old tricks.
With the controversial changes happening with 1Password, and the complete lack of empathy or understanding by the AgileBits dev team, I realized it was time to look for a new password manager. Fortunately, I found Minimalist in my searching! So far, I’m really liking it. It’s lacking some of the more “power” features of 1Password, but the dev team is incredibly responsive to suggestions. They’ve also posted a road map on their webpage, which looks very promising. Furthermore, unlike competing products (including 1Password), Minimalist supports local vaults that sync via iCloud and you can purchase it outright without the need to perpetually pay a monthly or yearly subscription fee. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, it can import password from multiple different programs, and imported all of my 1Password item without issue.
