I loved this app until I realized I was not getting what I was purchased. On 6/17/21 5 credits purchased 9/30/21 10 credits purchased 12/15/21 5 credits purchased 2/22/22 5 credits purchased 3/18/22 5 credits purchased 4/18/22 5 credits purchased 5/20/22 5 credits purchased I send 1 fax a month. one fax. I'm not a math wizard but I should have available credits. NOPE I have to go to UPS store and spend $2.50 a page which is 1 frickin page to send a fax. I've contacted Google because this is not right. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review but this definitely deserves it.
First, I couldn't find anywhere to choose if I wanted a cover. Not in the app menu. I needed to list the name I was sending it to. It may be that Ease Fax wants the recipient to have a contact card, but thats not practical or necessary. Second, After it said the Fax was sent "perfectly" I chose to create a Fax receipt. Once returning to the app I chose "Fax History" and it appeared to send the fax again. I couldn't believe it would send it again, so I deleted the Fax Number, and then hit Fax History. This time a list of prior faxes came up and sure enough, it sent this last fax twice, two minutes apart, and I can assure you I never chose Send but once. I never ran into this before that I can remember, and there should have been a clear button to add a cover page. I thought it might be under Preferences, however, it was grayed out. Over all, I really like the app. and don't know why the two issues above occurred. Rather than create a cover page manually, I just edited the document and added the recipients name. I would strongly suggest you make a Fax Receipt, although I need to make sure a copy of the documents sent are within that file.
I had 4 pages that I needed to fax and waited 7 minutes for my fax to go through. When it finally went, only 1 of 4 was sent. What the heck is that????
Downloaded "EaseFax: Send Fax app" Needed to send 8 pages of medical information right now! Found this app and seemed the perfect fix for faxing without going broke using a subscription service. Bought the credits needed to fax the info through the app using the app store purchasing feature, Created my account, used the app provided cover page creator, drag and droped the 8 page .pdf file, entered the hospital fax number and a minute or two later, delivered with a fax receipt! How in the Hellp can you beat this? AND!!! this small app will just sit in my Apps folder remembering my credits remaining for the next FAX send... Whenever that'll be... All this in less than 10 minutes. This is a clean 5 star winner! RS. Orlando...
but for an electronic service, there should be no tiered pricing an a single page should NOT cost $1.00. thats a ripoff
