Lucid is honestly an outstanding concept. I sampled books I had previously read and some that I hadn't. The explanations are simple (maybe overly simplified), and many visuals are stunning. I even enjoyed the end-of-section quiz. The biggest issue with this app is the limited breadth of titles. Many of the books fall into the self-improvement and business genres. After a while, the theme becomes repetitive. It just wasn't for me, but I do highly recommend it to others. I will undoubtedly revisit this app in the future.
Maybe let people know that the entire app is actually locked behind a pay wall. $100 a year is quite a bit for what you’re offering…
Love this app but the only time I can immerse myself into it is right before bed but it’s not easy to stay focused with the bright white light. Please allow for a dark mode option. Thanks for a great app.
Apps that avoid talking about the price until you download …. tick me off. Google should at least let me delete this crap from my app cloud as being something i have. Never launched as after download during set up i discovered the $9 per month price.
It says “In app purchases” which usually means it’s free but you can pay for a premium service. Not so here. Deceptive advertising, it is a forced subscription. You get on free quick chapter and then you hit a paywall. Seems cool but no, I don’t like the deception.
