This app is a great start to something that could be amazing. The app is very light, fast, and responsive (something that Adobe Dreamweaver isnt). All of the core functionality you need to be productive are in this app. What this app lacks are the little touches that make the users life easier, such as collapsing sections of code, or automatic link repair, etc. Do you need these things? No. Would they be nice to have? Sure. Overall a great start and very usable, and I will using this over dreamweaver and brackets because it doesnt get in the way of work.
Giving this app a lower than 5 star review would hurt the apps repuatation as it starts. Therefore, I do not want to be unfair. It is a 5 star app in the sense that it is trying to be great. The core functionality is there but the speed is not. Please work on making this app light. Its pretty slow but does work. I cannot wait to see what it becomes. Thanks guys!
I will say I am so glad that this application is as easy to use as it is. It does make project management alot easier for me, though there are some glaring issues that I would like to see resolved before I can really recommend this to anyone. First of all, there appears to be a caching issue which destroys any ability to edit CSS and see it take affect in Preview, which is a key feature for me. The "refresh" button and right-clicking to "reload" rarely do anything, and forces me to quit the program entirely and reopen my project to see changes. Secondly, I frequently lose 1-2 recent changes upon closing the application even if I have saved, which would be forgiveable if the application didn't crash all the time. And finally, having a separate window or improved customization of the Preview would be great to have. Overall, I'm looking forward to the needed and continuous improvements to this promising editor.
