Wegmans SCAN for Android

It constantly says problem connecting to mobile shopping system. I am connected to store wifi. Tried in two stores.

Overall works well, just needs a design/ux update.

Use the app for the first time today, was easy to learn about and the YouTube video was a little helpful ahead of my visit to confirm that I could use it for alcohol purchases. I liked being able to bag my things the way I wanted to as I shopped and was it able to easily remove an item that I had selected by accident. It wasn’t super intuitive when I got to the register to figure out how to scan to check out, but I figured it out within 10 seconds so it won’t be an issue going forward. I can’t really think of any improvements, the speed was really great, and I was worried about the scanning of produce but that proved to be a really easy process as well. Thanks for creating this app and checkout lane, waiting in line at Wegmans is one of the dreaded reasons I don’t go there on the weekend. One suggestion is to print an additional bar code on labels for in store items, like the prepared foods. Have to flip things over and potentially make a mess of the content to scan the item.

First time I downloaded and used it worked great and save me time at checkout, awesome. The second time I tried to use it the app would not recognize I was already connected to the store Wi-Fi, so it would not work. Closed app multiple times and turned Wi-Fi on and off a few times. Still never worked. Gave it a 3 star, Average of my two experiences
