I purchased a third party FEITIAN bR301 BLE and I’m getting an error that the reader could not be verified. I have even tried with their beta version and get the same thing.
The product worked as designed. I was able to access my army email and one drive on my Android and Mobile. Currently, the army doesn’t allow you to use A365 through any of the apps (MS Team, one drive, etc). That is not the devices fault, but the army who established those restrictions. Also, can’t read encrypted emails through the device but, supposedly, the creators of the reader are working on that. Overall, not worth the money if your agencies’ security measures won’t allow you to access the content properly.
Build quality of the plastics around the edges looks misaligned 3d printed product. Overall it’s a good product I’m just worried if I drop it the whole thing would shatter with one small drop.
Finally, a product worth reviewing. First and foremost, Tim is wonderful to work with and very quick to respond to requests. But, more importantly, the support he provides is amazing. The good: excellent integration with the PIV/CAC into iOS with out the use of third party application. Supported by militaryCAC.com, they have found a solution and implemented that into iOS. Allowed the native applications within the ecosystem to talk to the reader and use the credentials. The bad: well, it’s goes without saying that you don’t know what you don’t know. There’s is still much to be learned about this as it is new but the good far outweighs the unknowns at this point, and with the support of Tim and his team, I don’t think I’ll have any complaints anytime soon. Great work!
Tim and TwoCanoes are fantastic to work with and customer support was second to none. I had an issue for a little bit with my new reader and Tim ended up working with me directly to ensure we found a solution and that things eventually checked out. Well after some trying and working back and forth, testing the reader through TestFlight, emailing and a Zoom meeting, we had a fix/solution to the problem. Tim is great and know that if you ever need support with one of his products, he will respond and help out. I’m so pleased with the outcome as I can now access certain sites directly from Safari that enable so many options in terms of mobility and connectivity. Great job TwoCanoes😎
