If you are familiar with the ContactsXL app for Android, this is the Mobile-specific version. That means it is an excellent, full-featured contacts app that gives you many more features than the built-in product. I already owned the Android version and used it on both my Android and Mobile. With this coming out, I decided it would be worth the extra cost of buying the app again to take advantage of the large Mobile screen. Unfortunately, I was a bit premature. Yes, it's built for the Mobile, and yes, it uses the screen much better. However, it only works in landscape orientation. I certainly want it to be able to work in landscape, but I mostly use my Mobile in portrait, and I want it to work that way, too. If you work solely in landscape on your Mobile, and you don't care to use this in portrait, then buy it... you won't find a better contacts app. But if you work in both landscape and portrait modes, or primarily portrait, then you should hold off because this app isn't quite ready yet. I hope the developer goes ahead and fixes this. Assuming so, I'll just use the older one for now and consider the cost of this to be an investment in the future.
