LA Wallet is a Productivity app by Louisiana Division of Administration. LA Wallet will allow you to keep a digital representation of your current Louisiana-issued state ID or driver's license. The app will generate a unique image that is 100% Legal for driving purposes per Louisiana law of Act 625 of the 2016 session and approved by the Louisiana ATC for age-restricted purchases at various local restaurants, bars, and retail outlets.

Just when I was bragging to someone about now being able to have a digital license, I tried to demo it to them. Well the app did not keep my Touch ID active and I had to go through the whole set up each time I login. Have tried it numerous times now and each time you have to use an email and password and set up pin to login in. UPDATE AS REQUESTED IN EMAIL TELLING ME TO CALL FOR HELP - I called support as requested at 225-263-4488. No one answered. I left my contact info. Tks. 0704 - recently renewed my license on LA dmv website. Still waiting for physical new one in mail. Now when logging into app I am prompted to add a license. When I try to add mine back in it says there is already a license added, to log out and back in to see it. When I do that I am prompted with same message…. My license is no longer visible in app and I haven’t received the new one yet.
When will you be able to add an insurance card to this wallet?and concealed carry?
This should be two super easy addictions. Since it’s linked to the DMV. It should be able to have all vehicle and trailer registrations available for review by police for say traffic stops. Since it’s linked to the Wildlife and Fisheries. It should be able to have all boat and seas vessel registrations available for review by polices for say traffic stops. Or a place for photos under Drivers license branch to add these as photos for vehicles and trailers. And also have a photos section under wildlife and fisheries for boats.
Wish I could link my hunters Ed card to my wallet.
You have to push the scan button, that says scan with picture of barcode. Once you scanned from that button then go to home button and Scan again and press search/find license.
