You need to be within 15 feet of your router to connect. I was able to put a booster out by the charging unit and it connected. That being said, why doesn’t it allow notifications? It is not much help to have to check the app and history to know if it has run or if the filter needs to be cleaned. Please add notifications to this app. Many people have requested it only yo be told to email you all. No one responds to those emails.

Went top of the line and Dolphin doesn’t clean pool on schedule and when you manually turn it on; it stops the cycle within a few minutes. Waste of money.

For an app that accompanies a $1700 product (an Active 30i), I would have expected more. It works for a couple of months and then stops working. The app doesn’t recognize the robot and the company can’t get me the parts to fix it - it’s been almost a year.

Robot does a good job cleaning. The app is not good at all. Hard to drive the robot. Always have trouble connecting. Should be an easy process. This makes it hard to set the cleaning mode I want to use. I wish I had shopped this product more before I bought it

Update: 1 star. after the new update this year, app disconnects from bot every 2 days, i must go and unplug and replug it to work. Dont ask me to contact you via email because its useless, u dont help, please just have your app connect to your product. Smaller companies than dolphin have figured out much more complicated things. Original : 3 stars The app is good for the most part, although there are a couple of features that can use improvement - The delay button, appears and disappears Whenever it wants to, it’s not there about 85% of the time. - when switching from regular setting to the floors only setting there is no issue, this happens on the first try. However when switching back from the floors only to the regular cycle, you have to do that maybe 10 or 12 times, meaning that if you’re going back from the floor setting to the regular setting, you have to exit and enter the app, start and stop the vacuum about 12 times sometimes more, because even though it might say that it is running a regular cycle, the time will stay on one hour, which is the time for the floor setting only and the vacuum will only do the floor. The second issue has been going on since I bought the vacuum a year ago, but the delay button disappearing is fairly recent. Im hoping you can fix these issues, other than that the app is great for my use, thank you
