Mentor DSP for Android

It has so I many glitches I know I drive completely safe and not wreck less and this app saying I drive at a 3 star rating and i don’t see how or why. I been driving professionally for 6 years I don’t see how. This is pointless.

I turn on the app and stow it away for my entire shift (in a secure location where it can’t accidentally move/slide). Still get knocks for phone manipulation? How? Because I was on a bumpy road? Why not use phone usage as the metric instead of the gyroscope? Seatbelt violations when the camera can’t see anything other than a glovebox? Why because the mic didn’t hear the click of the seatbelt? Or engine off because again you use the mic instead of any real/accurate way of knowing anything. Maybe pair your craptastic app with an OBD2 scanner then you’ll get accurate engine off and seatbelt data. Speed data gets to also be a problem since they use bottom of the barrel maps with inaccurate speed postings. The only thing this app seems to do right is maybe acceleration, breaking and cornering (as long as you have decent network connection and aren’t lagging all over the place) Over all this app really either needs to cut way back on what they claim they can do. Or completely scrap their current metrics and use accurate data from the vehicle itself.

This app is still trash… Amazon wants top of the line drivers but they use bottom of the barrel apps 1 star rated…… work for amazon and use this app at your own risk!!!!

When getting below 850, Mentor should restart back to 850 after the next successful day. For example: if one day you get hit for hard breaking and your score drops to 820, then when you drive the next time with no hits then your score should restart to 850.

People are hilarious this app has gotten horrible reviews but I have had no problem in 9 months using it. Just follow the easy steps and it’s not even bad. People don’t like to work hard anymore 😂
