Is there anyway when you rewrite your software update your software for either the Libre two or the three to allow it to write to Google health app? Many apps do that already such as Dexcom six and Libre should do it as well. Since you revise your software often would you please make the two in the three able to upload data to the Google health app that appears on iPhones. It would help us great deal and see how things look
I have used this app with my Google pixel phone and it was wonderful you didn’t have to open the app you just held your phone to the sensor and it sensed it and took the reading. Unfortunately with my Android it won’t do that I have to open the app find where I tell it to read my glucose and then hold it up and even then it’s really sensitive and doesn’t always find it. I don’t know why it is harder to use with the Android than a Google pixel but it is disappointing.
I love the fact I don’t have to stick myself, but I really hate when my sensor will not pair with my phone. Started off great with pairing to my phone then all of a sudden it stopped working. Can use the meter I had to buy with it, but let’s face it it’s way more convenient to be able to tap your phone. I hope this isn’t going to happen with the Libre 2.
This has been the best thing that has happened to me. I feel in control of my diabetes and have brought myA1C down to 6.9. I can check my blood sugar as many times as I want and can see an immediate response to how food effects me. Thank you!
This app is totally 💯 unreliable. Why? Because every reading I take is way higher than a finger stick! I’ve recorded readings one after the other for comparison and they most of the time are 30 to 62 points higher than my freestyle lite readings. I spent more than 1 hour on the phone with Abbott this day and we decided that where I have used the app for well over one year now, that I use the meter that originally came with my first sensor. I happily can report that all readings I’ve taken today are within 3 points, and I am stoked! Reason I’ve used the app vs the reader, is I drive truck (retired now) and to take a bg reading driving with the app worked well until I found out the readings were in outer space. I’m hopeful this continues,as sensor reading is superb vs finger stick. Thanks Abbott! 7-7-2022 UPDATE: I am sorry as well as more disappointed actually, that since I last reported that the initial readings were relatively close to one another, it almost seems after I made that statement that those readings began returning to 30+ point higher spread when comparing with a finger stick. Also, after I first wrote this review, I received a request through Google from Abbott to call them, quote: “we’d like to follow up with this” please give us a call 855-632-8658 so we can better assist. So I did. Only to go through the exact steps as I always have in order to qualify for a replacement sensor. I don’t want another replacement sensor, as they don’t make a difference. Therefore, I’m back at square one. I’m getting nowhere with them largely due to overseas people who receive my calls, and only understand their training, and that I’ve explained! I plead with Abbott for more, better, help and understanding in order to improve their product, as it is a excellent move in checking blood 🩸 glucose.
