This app uses the idea behind EMDR to give you a powerful tool to process anxiety and trauma on your own at home. It’s surprisingly effective, even after just one use. Makes me think you don’t have to go to a therapist when you can do it yourself. I would recommend reading a little about how EMDR works because you do need some background information to do it correctly on your own
I love all the options for controlling speed and appearance, and think that part is MUCH better than some of the other apps out there, but feel it needs audio BLS to match the visual, with tones alternating between each ear that is in sync with the speed of the dot. If that was an option, this app would be perfect for working with my clients. I hope a future update with include that.
Weak
Key options are speed and different patterns. Also has a simple rating scale for negative state and positive belief. I had subscription to website and will move over to this app as this is an in depth emdr app.
