This is hands down the best "brain dump" tool I have ever used! So amazing for sorting through all of your thoughts and getting them out. Works so well with how the brain works. Cannot wait for this project to continue to keep getting better and better! Thank you SO much developers for making such an incredible tool!
AMAZING experince.. Making things easy for me.. put my mind on paper :)... THANK YOU
I thought I could use this to bubble with multiple people at the same time, but you can't do that. For what it is, I'd rather use a piece of paper and a pencil. :(
I have been using mindmaps for over 20 years and the Mindnode platform is my indispensable tool that helps me plan and organize my thoughts and projects. This platform has saved my endless hours in preparation and presentation of complex scientific and health care concepts. I recommend for anyone who works with large amounts of information.
i really like mindnode! i use primarily the outline mode to take class notes, and i appreciate the visual layout, the ability to collapse child nodes, and the customizability of everything from connector corner shapes to image caption positions. i LOVE that when you alt-click on a node’s arrow, it expands or collapses all children recursively, i use that feature all the time. it makes organizing my thoughts way easier. that said, i have a couple quality of life suggestions: 1. i wish i could filter by multiple tags or that tag highlighting had an option to hide the non-highlighted modes. i want some way to show only the nodes with #important and #rule and #reading without having to scroll through my entire document to find them. i think there should also be an option to auto-unfold all nodes that have a tag when you highlight that tag—currently it highlights the parent node and you have to manually unfold the parent node to get to the tagged child, which is frustrating. → as a subpoint, i wish clicking on tags in outline mode gave you the option to fliter by that tag and the option to remove the tag. currently clicking on tags in outline mode doesn’t do anything, and removing tags is kind of a pain. showing an eye symbol and an x (to filter/delete respectively) on the tag when you click would kill 2 birds with one stone 2. similarly, i wish i could hide all nodes with a specific tag. perhaps by putting a minus in front of it in the filter bar? 3. i wish there was an option to keep formatting when copy/pasting, especially within mindnode itself. i like to bold vocabulary and italicize case names and it’s really frustrating having to go back and redo the formatting every time i combine nodes or split them apart. 4. i wish i could link two nodes in the same file but different branches. perhaps with connections? i think that having something at the bottom of the node like a tag that when clicked takes you to another node would be great. this would solve the “no child node can have two parent nodes” problem for me. again, i find mindnode vitally useful and almost tailor-made for my needs; i just wish that finding nodes in my huge mess of a document was a bit easier! i look forward to future updates
