Was disappointed that the "Today" ToDoist integration never sank when I paid for the premium version on iOS. Thought I'd shell out another few bucks to try it on Android, and saw that no UI is available on Android. Not sure how this got approved - should be pulled from the Android App Store. Uninstalled from all my devices.
Some of the controls on the UX are not visible on my dual monitor setup. Dev needs to do more work in this area. P.S. iOS version is the gold standard IMHO. So I expect the DEV to put in a shift and bring this cocoa app up to standard.
Updated on 18/10/10 One year after my last review, I finally make the app work on my Android with all my data like projects and tasks stored on my Android. Thanks for the developer. However, I think there is still improvement that can be done. First is the desk clock. It is quite usless now with that kind of size. And with only white and black two option, the legibility is quite poor. Or at least try the automatic feature like when the system is light the clock is dark and when the system is dark and the clock is white. And please bring the daily plan interface on Android, not only the task to do now interface. It is just too different from the habbit I got on my Android. The next requirement may be too much. The problem for me is that the Android and Android works seperately. I don't know if this will conflict when both run different tasks. I still hope that I can run the same task simutaneously and change the tasks I choose at either place I like. At last, I want to say good work to the developers. I hope the app can keep imroving and help me deal with my focus time for a long time. -------------------------------------------------- I must say this is really user-unfriendly on Android. When I first time open it, I even can’t find any interface showing on my screen and it took me one minute to realize it is on the toolbar… Interesting… And I cannot find anything except start a timer for whatever… If this is all the functions, why I bother to spend 1 dollar to buy a timer on my computer? Where are all my records on my Android and how I can keep record of my activities? If there is such function, please tell me where to start. By the way, I have logged in on Android as a same account on iOs, just to find there is nothing. ….
This is not currently syncing with the mobile version - I would it to have the same timer going on my computer/watch and phone. Especially for a total of $7 spent between platforms.
Just purchased this app tonight for my Android after having purchased the iOS version earlier today. The ios verson on my Mobile works fantastically. I have just completed the Pomodero Certification course and can see that this app really fits the bill in ways I didn’t see possible; so I ordered the Android version. I can’t get anything up but the menu bar. Was happy thinking I could integrate with the ios version, but it won’t even run on my Android - AT ALL. Very disappointed. So far a waste of money. But they really understand the concepts better than any app I’ve seen. The ios app cost $6.00 and worth every penny. The Android app costs .99 cents and isn’t worth a penny in it’s current form..
