This is not a bad app. There are some bugs and things that can be improved. However, this app is way too expensive for what it does.
UPDATED REVIEW 3-19-21 I am updating my review from March 5, 2021. Khanan Grauer, Co-Founder & CEO, Komodo has been wonderful! to work with and he has been very responsive to my questions. He contacted me immediately once I posted my March 5 review. He worked with me to identify specifically what problem I was having. When he identified the problem, he told me Komodo would be updating the app to correct the problem. They updated the app and corrected the problem. It worked “perfect”. I Love.. this app and ability to narrate a presentation. I give a fair number of presentations. This is a great tool for pre-recording presentations and getting feedback on the quality of the presentation before presenting (voice, pace, delivery and redundant words). This app helps me refine my presentation skills. Now I just have to figure out how to make narrated presentations have good sound quality when I share my screen Zoom. Great job Komodo! ======================================= I downloaded Komodo app from the App Store on March 1, 2021. I downloaded my first pdf slides and recorded my presentation. This all worked fine. I saved the presentation with NO problem. On the same day, I download from the cloud a 2nd pdf document & recorded. This worked fine. However, when I attempted to save the presentation, I got an error message “Failed, Something Went Wrong”. I attempted to save multiple times. My 2nd presentation would NOT save. The app says you get 8 presentations free trial. I was very disappointed! The app stopped working the first day that I downloaded it. On March 5, 2021. I decided to delete the app and downloaded again. Also I turned my Mobile off and back on. I tried to save the 2nd presentation again. I got the same error message again - “Failed, Something Went Wrong”. I wasted a lot of time.
I’ve been using this app to make videos for my students since January 2019 and there are so many features that make it special. First, the ability to make one slide at a time. As someone who doesn’t always teach well to empty space, being able to delete just one bad slide and redo it is great! Also means I can get rid of a slide entirely if I decide not to use it. It works great with my Mobile and the many options to use such as a link or download have been really great in online classes. I would recommend this to anyone who needed to present anything that they wanted people to have access to for a long time.
Buggy. I love this app but it keeps crashing right when I’m toward the end of my presentation. It will only let me import from Dropbox. I cannot me import from Google Drive at all.
This one certainly lets your imagination run riot with unique ideas. You can also import any videos in any slides .
