This app is impossible to get footage from in my experience. I have two Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2’s, one in the front and one in the back of my car. I cannot retrieve footage without taking the SD card out and using my computer. You are supposed to be able to retrieve footage in the app but all I get is a pop up that says “Connecting to Wi-Fi” that never goes away. I’ve waited half an hour before… Nothing. The only thing I can do in the app is view live feed and see a list of all the footage. I can’t actually VIEW or DOWNLOAD the footage…
Garmin works great for us.
I had bought another brand dash cam, same price and it was junk. This Garmin 47 simple works like it suppose to.. plug up, Download app. Make password, email BOOM 💥 your done!!👍👌
The app has a serious bug. When I tried to connect to a WiFi, it did not ask me for the password and then the authentication failed. It always Enter Password Again but there is nowhere I can enter the password.
