It is great but needs more sports for example baseball, football etc.
Love everything about the service and the masterclasses themselves. The app, however, is horrid. I can’t watch anything ever, regardless of wifi or data. Anything downloaded “also” doesn’t play. The app might as well be a glorified TV guide telling what is offered but not actually viewable. Super frustrating and unfortunate. Fix it please.
This app is really frustrating to use. There are several major bugs. It is very difficult to track progress with a course. Sometimes the course will jump to the next lecture unexpectedly, or play a completely different course. The layout is difficult to navigate. I would be ashamed to put this app out in the world (let alone charge people). It is like the app is in a development stage, but was released anyway. Can’t speak to the content. The bugs in the app are too distracting to focus in on any one topic.
So, the courses are entertaining and informative with lots of variety. But the apps are kinda glitchy - I can never access my downloaded content on my Mobile or phone unless I’m online so I wouldn’t recommend paying for that level of membership. Also the way courses are organized is strange - you can only jump forward but cannot view lessons you’ve already watched without returning to the main class page. Also, there’s no way to view or add notes on mobile apps as is the case on the website. Overall, pretty minor stuff, but irritating given that MasterClass built a custom platform and isn’t constrained to some 3rd party’s code.
A simple way to explore topics you might be curious about in more depth taught by the most successful professionals in that field. Recently completed a 4 week floral arrangements course with Maurice Harris and was so sad when it ended. But thankfully I can rewatch it anytime! Understanding what goes into a floral arrangement has also magnified my appreciation when I see them.
