This app has great content. However, the subtitle placement can’t be changed. The subtitle bubble is truncated and annoying as heck! This is a major blemish on a high quality and otherwise well polished and potentially useful app. Subtitle are a must for for my language learning needs. It’s not working on any of my devices (phone/tablet) in either orientation. I see that I’m not the only one affected, please address the annoying flaw.
On the Android that I use there is a major problem locating the subtitles at the top of the screen for beginners on all videos, I’m not able to see the words during the conversations that the gentleman is having in order to learn the proper way of speaking and reading that go hand in hand. I’m pretty disappointed because I also Use the Dw English version for the news and was interested in learning. It didn’t matter if I rotated the screen or not in order to make the subtitles larger , they were seemingly cut off.
The app is great but what is the essence of using an app when we cannot see the subtitles? I think this is a bug and it needs to be fixed. I use an iPhone11 pro max
It is an amazing source but makes my Android 12 Pro Max extremely hot I think because it needs optimization for new iOS and new chips please fix this and it will be great user experience
Most of the questions and instructions are in German which I can’t read yet. And when I do actually translate them they don’t help, it just feels like figuring out how to answer a question is a gamble. Overall great app though
