After using the app to browse through a few systems, it seems to be a fairly well-put-together learning platform for the Embraer 190. I’m actually using it to become familiar with the Embraer 175, but the continuity and commonality of systems between the two allows this app to adequately cover both via a Differences module. Where my frustration lies is that there doesn’t appear to be an easy way to keep track of where I am in the modules. There are boxes with check marks next to the many sections and subsections, but no way to manipulate them, to uncheck or recheck them, as a tool to keep track of which modules have been watched and which ones haven’t. I find myself selecting the same modules repeatedly, and when I exit the app, I have no idea where I left off upon returning. Thus, four stars vs. five! Maybe even three, because the annoyance of not knowing which modules I’ve watched may be enough to steer me clear of an otherwise great product.
