I am using this to help me get into working at nintendo
I have quite enjoyed Mimo. I don't see the need for premium at the moment but that doesn't mean I won't buy it in thr future as I do really enjoy the app. At the moment, I rarely use hearts so I don't see the need. However, I would love to see a placement or assessment to bypass things that I already know. Even if this is a paid feature it would be totally worth it for me. I could see the use of a notebook as I am doing a lesson that I cab jot a quick note in so I make maximize my learning. Overall, it's a great app. And I definitely recommend.
Very simple and easy-to-follow program for beginners (such as myself), but I learn by doing and I wish there was more involvement on my end for the lessons by typing in full-on answers and lines of code instead of “Type in “Upvote” in the blank space”…. I feel like I’m tapping more than typing. Using a Bluetooth keyboard on my iPad to use this app is great but I wish I could type more! Anyone curious, I’m using the Logitech K380 and I highly recommend it. Also it’s silly when the multiple choice questions only give you 2-3 choices. Especially when the prompt tells you what choice to pick. Maybe it will get more challenging and interactive further into the program and maybe I’m being too serious upon starting this app- I’ll keep pushing forward to find out! For these reasons, I had to take off two stars off of my review. All I would’ve asked for is a more serious hit-the-ground-running start to the program. Also, if a developer happens to see/respond to this review, do the certifications from this app mean anything? Serious question from someone looking to pursue a future career in developing or coding (maybe they’re the same thing.. I’m new leave me alone lol)
This app is really fun honestly and if your just getting into coding I recommend this app 👍
This app is good and helps you to learn code but one problem i have is why does it take so long to regenerate hearts… I think it should be 30 mins to regenerate hearts instead of 3 hours at max
