I use a digital planner on my Mobile. Organizing my png digital stickers was a pain. The files app always felt cumbersome. I was literally about to teach myself how to make an app to organize, tag, and easily locate my stickers. Then, thankfully, through much research, I finally found this app! Love the minimal interface and being able to choose thumbnail backgrounds because png files sometimes show with a black background in other apps and this can make it hard to see what certain files are. I love the tagging feature. It’s exactly what I needed! I love the thumbnail size. I love that it works in the 1/3 multitasking window pane. I love that you have the option for iCloud storage because I prefer to have my files in the cloud for syncing. I love that when making a collection you can add multiple tags to the whole collection, but you can also tag individually later. These are the things I think would help your app! :) 1. I’d optimize your SEO for easier finding for those in the digital planning community as well. We look for apps for our stickers. Idk how SEO works on the App Store, but just a thought. I searched for things like: sticker book, sticker organization, sticker management, file management, file organizer, png organizer, png management, and finally photo management and then I found you. But, not before googling and then downloading and testing multiple apps to try and find a solution. 2. Please allow us to search with more than one tag. Rn I can only search one tag at a time. So, if I’m looking for say a budget widget I can’t search both the budget and widget tag. And I have a lot in each category. 3. Please fix the crash that happens when importing a large number of files. When I pull in close to 100 files the app crashes. I am on a new model Mobile Pro and I have plenty of onboard storage and iCloud storage, yet the app crashes. It’s not a huge deal for me, it doesn’t happen all of the time. But, it does need to be fixed. 4. iCloud syncing doesn’t work across iPads. Not a huge deal, because I plan from one of my iPads mostly. But, before I can push this app out on my platforms for others to download, it needs to be fixed. And I really would love to have it sync so I can plan from either Mobile. Now onto my wishlist from my own app ideas: 1. I wish you could lasso and drag in multiple pngs from goodnotes and it would bring in the images separately. Right now, it brings them in as like a sticker sheet in one image. Not a huge deal, just saves some time because a lot of us digital planners use digital sticker books in goodnotes. So, it would make the migration to Pixave so much faster for our collections. 2. I’d love the option to choose the scale of the image in the thumbnail. This makes it easier to see what some stickers are. 3. I’d like to see all the tags on an image in a row in the info panel. Sometimes when we are filming a video we want to tell our followers where a certain sticker or pack came from. So, I tag my images with the store name. But, I noticed in the info panel to see all the tags, I have to scroll and look through them and I have a ton of tags. Just like a list above the tags would be great. Again these are all just wishlist items and I understand your app isn’t specifically for us in the digital planning community. But, it is a very large and ever growing community that your app does appease to. I know this was a long review. If you made it to the bottom you’re an even better app team! 🤣 Thank you for such an awesome app! I will update my review if crashes and syncing are fixed.
I was so excited to have found an app that was going to do what I needed, and at a affordable price on the Android. Note to the developer, I’d pay 5 times that easy - especially if the cloud sync was working. Heck, 10 times would be fine too. That is how bad I need this product. Hoping it can be brought up from the abyss…
Like other reviewers have said, I’ve used and loved this app for years. It was the best, and really only one of its kind for keeping my design images separate from my personal photos and keeping it all synced across IOS and Android. Then I had a problem that led to a hard reset of the Mobile itself and all my libraries were lost on the Mobile but still on my Android, and no amount of “pulling down” would load them. So now I’ve come to see that it hasn’t updated in 3 years and it’s simply not syncing libraries anymore and there is no workaround. Crushed. Tragic. Much sad. RIP Pixave. You were a good app. 2 stars rather than 1 because If you aren’t concerned with syncing between platforms and only have your design assets on your Mobile OR on your Android, it still does that much fairly well. But the fact that it hasn’t been updated in so long doesn’t bode well. I wish I could say you should find an alternative, but my searches are coming up frustratingly blank. I wish you luck.
I loved this app, and I’m sorry to have to pan it, but you should not buy it—or even get used to using it—at this point. Once upon a time, Pixave was a great way to organize and store images. It replaced Pixa for me on the Android, but unlike Pixa, Pixave had the incredible advantage of being able to sync with the Mobile! I used it successfully for years, but recently, after I had to factory reset my Mobile Pro due to unrelated issues, I found that Pixave will no longer sync. The Mobile app does not recognize Pixave libraries already stored in iCloud, or new ones created on the Android. Sync between Android and Mobile had become an essential part of my workflow, so Pixave is now worthless to me. I contacted the developer seeking help, but weeks later I have not received an answer. I found it reliable and useful. It was perhaps the only app of its type that truly embraced iCloud sync, and for a while, I considered it completely essential. But it’s not working now, and there’s no support to be had. So don’t become dependent on it. Your best plan is to avoid Pixave and find some other solution for managing your images.
I’ve use this for a few years now. As a photographer this app would allow me to make collections of photos that I would use as references and ideas for future photo shoots. I had the app for my Android as well as my Mobile. It would allow you to import images into the desktop version and it would automatically sync those images to my Mobile. This feature no longer works. And this is one of the most important features for my workflow. After purchasing a new Mobile and installing the app, I selected the option to use a previous library in iCloud. The app no longer sees previous collections in iCloud. It does allow me to move or create a new library in iCloud on both my Mobile and my Android, but any previous library is now unavailable. Now it’s reduced to only being usable as a single standalone app on either platform, as it will no longer sync libraries between devices. I’m fairly certain this limitation was introduced with a update to iOS and Android and not an actual fault of the software author. Regardless this needs to be addressed, this app should no longer be allowed to advertise its ability to sync library‘s between iCloud if it can no longer do it. Please please please for the love of everything holy fix this issue. I would be more than willing to pay $50 for this app to work correctly right now I wouldn’t pay you two dollars for it. What was once the most important and beloved app on my Mobile, is now something I am forced to delete and look for an alternative to. The reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because how well it works on either my Android or my Mobile, but also how much it has failed on the sync issue.
