  • Buggy, Missing Functionality, But Lots Of Promise

This app has so much potential, but it also has some inconvenient bugs. Helpful Features: 1) Users can filter assigments between what's due today, this week, next week, and what's overdue. This is super helpful for quickly prioritizing tasks. 2) The interface is beautiful. I have yet to find a more aestetic homework app. 3) The program allows you to set sub-tasks for an assigment, which is incredibly useful. Bugs/Missing Functionality: 1) Users cannot set recurring assigments 2) Users can only set one alert per assignment. 3) When creating an assigment, the user is required to set a "planned date" by which you will have the assignment completed. While this would be helpful in some cases, it should be optional. Because it isn't, and because when I'm moving quickly I don't want to set two assigment dates, so I end up with random, unhelpful "planned" dates on the Planner page, rendering it cluttered and unhelpful. 4) Users can rank how high of a priority a specific assigment is, which is super helpful, but I'm not sure why only options are 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8. It may be better to just have options like "low", "medium", "high" instead. 5) The calendar doesn't show what "today" is until you click on whatever day "today" is. Then the day turns blue. It would be nice to have "today" always be highlighted. On a similar note, it would also be nice to have a "today" button that takes you right to today. 6) The Sync feature can be woefully unreliable. This is my biggest complaint. I will update something on my phone and even days later the computer program refuses to make the change despite it reading "Synced". 7) After opening an assigment from any particular day, the menu for that item opens up on the right side of the screen. But this isn't the issue. My issue is that when I click on another day on the calendar, the item stays in the menu. This gets confusing if I'm switching between windows, as I come back and am unsure as to whether that assigment corresponds to the day I currently have open. 8) I have had zero customer support. I've reached out at least twice about my devices not syncing, yet have received no help or response. This was very disappointing. 9) Recently, Semesters and Terms were added to the Organizer page. Yay! Only problem is the alert that tells me they added this features cannot be moved or closed, so it's blocking the semester I've set up, meaning I can't see three of the courses I've added to the semester. As the title says, this app has incredible promise and I really do hope the developer can make some of these changes. (I also hope they will get back to me about my syncing issues). Perhaps they will reply to this message.

  • Crashes, crashes and crashes

Been working with this for about an hour now and it has crashed no less than half a dozen times. And because it crashes, all your work is lost. DONT DO IT!

  • Print/Organization

Unable to print calendar from Android. Also, class assignment organization is unclear even when numbering research and assignments to keep them separate and clear. Not worth the price and time I invested in setting up this tool up with my syllabus. Not sure if refunds are an option. :-( App needs more tweaks to take organization of assignments to the next level.

  • Good Organizer

I really like this organizer. One thing I wish it had was a feature allowing me to set reminders. It allows you to set START and DUE dates, but under the DUE date is an alarm section. I cannot tell if it is really activated as, whenever I set a “Days before” for the time I want, after closing and reopening the assignment, the “days before” zeroes back to “NONE” and only my time remains the same. This is crazy frustrating as I’ve already inputed well over 50 assignments prior to my discovery. Also, the app has on several occasions not saved my assignment description text and I had to go back at least half a dozen times to put them back in. The trick I used was to write it all in and just sit with the app open for a few minutes, close the app, and then reopen and my descriptions were saved. But I imagine that this is because it somehow needs to sync with a server or something? Perhaps if an “APPLY” button were added, which allowed for a save and sync behind the scenes, that would be great, especially if the App crashes, which it did for me 3 times in the first 3 hours of installing, making me lose quite a bit of data entry each time. It is a good app that was well thought out, looks similar to the Android calendars, and contains quite a bit of useful tools, such as adding a syllabus (I added my downloaded course schedule instead). I think having the ability to link a document or more to each assignment would be a MAJOR bonus. And as another user said, having the option to create plans and schedules for tasks within the assignment would be great! For example, if I have a Project Paper” assignment, rather than just having the start and due dates, I would like to be able to add start dates to the tasks to remind me to get a move on! This feature would be great for professional procrastinators! Reminders are ALWAYS necessary! 😊 For now, I add tasks I need to start early on separately.

  • This would be 5 stars with just a couple bug fixes

I love using this app to keep my assignments and exams in line. It’s a simple, free, and functional planner. However in the most recent update the “planner” tab has some bugs (highlighting blue randomly and lagging when dragging assignments around). Before the bug fix this was no problem. However I would love for the app to have a better of sub-task functionality. You are able to create a main assignment (Like a group project per se) and you can add “tasks” inside of that assignment, (like “create powerpoint”, “submit for peer editing”) but I would love to be able to plan and schedule those “sub tasks” on the planner.
