I should have paid attention to the reviews. Information in app is inaccurate. Pieces are not where the app says, descriptions of pieces are wrong, the “audio guide“ is just a computerized voice reading the already terrible descriptions. 90% of the numbered pieces are not even in the app, or are inaccurate. Don’t waste your time or money!
This app is out of date for the current collection.
First review I’ve ever submitted, but felt compelled because it wasted my time and money. Only a fraction of work described. Robot narration.
I don’t thing this app is sponsored by the museum. Map is immaculate, the numbering does not match most works, and many commentaries from the audio guide at the museum are not included in the premium version of the app. Disappointing.
This app is useless without the in-app purchase ($3.99, I think). Even with that, the audio is by a computer and at least half the paintings I looked up, including the giant Monet featured at the entry to the exhibit, were not included.
