I love the idea, i love the UX however i thibk it needs more feature for example I think after each recording it should suggest some words for using in next speeches. Exercises needs to ask for user input. For example impromptu speaking can has its own section in recordings. However it is the best app I ever seen for improving English Speaking. Kind Regards, A product designer
Speaking has always been a weak point for me and I’m so glad I found Speeko! It’s great for improving your speaking confidence in a fun way. The “personality” of the app feels like you’re working with a real teacher who is understanding but pushes you to improve using different techniques - and you get real-time feedback like you would with a real teacher!
Withholds all useful information unless you pay (an exorbitant amount) for it. Extremely disappointed. Don’t bother downloading as all it does in its free mode is scrape your personal data
I have been on this app for a couple of months. It’s really a great idea for those intimidated by public speaking or unconfident in interviews. It’s a good way to practice on your own. It has some really good tips and found the “impromptu speaking” section most helpful, with “engaging an audience” also helpful. However I’m mainly using this for practicing interview/and impromptu work speaking. I don’t know how accurate the AI is that provides feedback but either way you are practicing speaking which can only help. I appreciate the interview questions that can be used as prompts for practice but I think there could be a lot more content dedicated to interviewing. Some of it is a bit repetitive (you will get the same posture and breathing tips before every single speaking exercise) and I think an entire section related to calming/nervous and inclusive speaking is a little much -these are relevant for everyday life but they don’t teach anything related to how to be a better speaker. I find they are just repetitive things I’ve learned elsewhere already. I generally think there could be alot more useful content on speaking and wish that would be prioritized.
It is a great app and I would be subscribed to their service if I wasn’t broke… haha BUT what’s great is even with the free trial version you can do a lot with this app. So it’s easy to see if you want to be subscribed to the service. I recommend downloading this app and just trying it out before missing out on it!!!
