This is a good and useful app, but could be even better with some additional features that I really hope will be added. Filter by Genre - I wish I could filter within my list by genre. When I’m in the mood to watch a horror movie, for example, the only options are to go to the general horror tab, which will only show movies I haven’t seen OR added to my list—or to scroll through my list looking for horror movies. I want to be able to click Watch Next and then narrow down by genre(s). Add a Field/Filter for Critical Scores - The two scores available are IMDB and Reelgood scores. These are both based on member votes. While it’s nice to have that info, I wish the app also listed Rotten Tomato and/or Metacritic scores. Many of the movies I like are well-reviewed but not very popular. (And other times people might be looking for the opposite, because sometimes you might want to watch a fun silly film even if it’s critically “bad.”) Ability to import lists - this is probably the hardest implement feature on my wish list, but it would obviously be amazing if I could link my streaming accounts and have all my queues and ratings imported. Right now the set up for Reelgood involved a long and tedious process of manually searching for and adding each film. Standup comedy - this is a somewhat trivial complaint, but standup comedy specials should be their own genre, not listed under Documentaries. Obviously there is sometimes an overlap (like documentaries about multiple comedians), but in general when I’m looking for something educational I don’t wanna have to scroll past Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld specials etc. Overall though, this app has changed the way I watch. I add things to this queue instead of to a particular streaming service’s queue, and I check here for when I want to find something to watch. I just wish that some features (especially the genre filtering) would make that process a little easier.
Love this app…just what is needed when you have multiple streamers in your home…but the only (very frustrating) problem is the app itself is a terrible streamer. When I am browsing for a title to watch quite often I want to play the TRAILER associated with it. There is an icon for that when available. Then I wait, and wait, and wait…spinning circle of death…if the trailer does indeed start playing it usually buffers quite often throughout. My connection to web is high end; so this is not a problem with the speed or bandwidth of my internet provider. Fix this please. 👊😀
My only fear is that I invest all this time and then they abandon the app. I’d love it if they could add a way to add friends and share recommendations.
This app is great except that my watching list is HUNDREDS OF TITLES LONG. And there is no way to sort the list by anything useful: film or tv, comedy or drama, live action or animation, half-hour or hour, etc. with so much to watch, it would be BRILLIANT if this app let you focus down to what you want to watch at any single time. It would be even more brilliant if you could add your own tags, like “watching with wife” to maximize those precious hours before she falls asleep on the couch...
How often do you refresh your database? Your app marks already available shows as unavailable and TBA. Example- Tehran on Google TV- all 8 episodes are available, but your app shows 7 and 8 TBA. While ago I marked 1-6 episodes of that show as seen, but never got notification from your app about 7 and 8, now I know why. Also you keep recommending movies I marked “seen”, but somehow they got unmarked and now recommended. Sorry at this time can not give you more than 2 stars.
