Works as advertised for the most part. A few bizarre glitches. 1) in the app...a file that has been saved reversts to showing 'untitled' but in the background it actually saves it to the file name that one has named it. 2) tried to add a web link. If you hit 'enter' in Android big sur, the app closes and does not save the change. However, if you add the web link via mouse clicks it seems to work.
Not user friendly, not flexible. Produces an ugly, useless ferriswheel of ugly icons. I wish I had never paid my hard earned money for this utterly useless app.
The maps are beautiful. Like so many other reviews say it lacks basics around colors and icons, the ability to move items around, change fonts, make some elements bigger or smaller. In a perfect world I would have this beauty and be able to click and get a view like the ones in iMap Builder Pro (which also lacks in many areas.) The developres of this have done a lovely job, and I hope they keep going to add these additional features.
I am not sure what people are compalinaing about. This does exactly what it is supposed to do, and for $30 it is not a bad deal. It does not crash... whoever posted that review needs to buy a better computer. I would recommend.
If I would have read the reviews from 4 years ago I would not have bought it. After buying it, I won't use it because it lacks some must have features: 1) Need to be able to edit fonts 2) Needs automatic cycling of colors like every other mindmap software. Needing to manually change every color of every node is a pain. 3) Needs themes. 4) Needs keyboard shortcuts. For me mindmapping is about fast/easy getting ideas out of my head with little to no friction. This software has friction. Seems like beta software, but in looking at comments they haven't developed it further in the last 4 years. I'm sticking to Mindnode and Mindmeister for software that is more usable and continues to be developed/improved. If they kept building this to bring in the must have features I'd love to use it and give it a 5 star review.
