Bellabeat Wellness Coach for Android

Had one for a little more than year and it worked fine until it didn’t any longer. Ordered a second and it hasn’t worked. Tech tried to help but I wore it maybe half a dozen times and then tossed it in a drawer

Truly downloaded the app just to leave this review. If you live in a state where abortions are illegal etc. DO NOT use this app. No matter what the company says about data encryption you can still have this data subpoenaed. That means it is not fully safe!! Use at your own risk but do so knowing this IMPORTANT information.

I’ve had my leaf for probably a year. The app will say that the battery is charged but when nothing is tracking and you change the battery, which in itself is difficult to change due to the very very tiny screw sizes, you find that it was the battery that is dead even though the app said it wasn’t. And to sync the leaf to the app you need to double tap the leaf. It goes through periods that it won’t respond to sync, and that’s when you think the battery is dead also, when it’s not. It really could be a great app but there’s so many little issues that it’s annoying. Update: I got a response from Bellabeat that their technical team can tell the battery level if I want to know. “ Also, the technical team can see the exact battery levels on their end, so it's best to rely on their support with fixing the issues. All the best, Bellabeat" They are based in France and it takes a day for the response. How about the app just showing the correct level?

I have purchased two of the Bellabeat Leafs (Leaf Ivy) and I’ve loved them both. But since the app update, syncing to the app is a nightmare. The double tap doesn’t register and it takes forever to sync, often crashing halfway through. I preferred this fitness tracker due to its pretty appearance and functionality but now, I’m just unhappy with it.

I have used this app religiously to track my period since my very first leaf ivy that I had preordered and really depended on it as it was very accurate. As a mail carrier who walks 9 hours a day it is mega important to be prepared. Since the change in design, I cannot trust the app to even be keeping track at all. Currently it says it has no info for this month and doesn’t show last month in a manner I even understand. I am very disappointed in the recent changes and am feeling stressed about having to find and adjust to another app. I don’t understand messing with something that is working- we need accuracy and simplicity over whatever you are going for here.
