Glitches

Haven’t used the app much but was trying to listen to a fascinating story but the playback kept getting disrupted. Very frustrating.

Eats battery, plays intro every time connection changes.

It is now part of my routine to turn off wifi when I take the dog for a walk so I don’t have to hear the “you should support us” spiel twice. Also, eats battery like I do candy.

ATE MY BATTERY AND DATA

I left this app in background. My battery was fully charged and dead 12 hours later, hadn’t been used at all. This app in background ate it up. Also ate my entire gig of data for the month in less than three days.

Unreliable

As others have noted, connections are unreliable. Going for a walk, it will drop out multiple times, in spite of a strong cell signal. The only app on my phone with this issue.

Very very bad

Every single day I have to delete and re add this app to listen to WUNC with headphones. It drops out when my phone rings, and will not come back. How in the world are there not hundreds of complaints, I do not know. I have been having this problem for over two years though, and just putting up with it, so I guess everyone else has too. If I could find another way, I would!
