SmartRace for Android

Frustration after frustration with other apps, this one delivers in heaps. Precise timing, customization, saving track layouts and personal profiles, you name it. Plus, connecting it via computer to a TV screen and everyone knows who is the boss. On top of that, great customer support. We had an issue when we upgrader our computer, and Marc guided us thorugh.

I really enjoy this application. I know it is designed around the Carrera track system, but it does work fantastic with the Scalextric Analog track too using the ARC system as well. If I had only one suggestion it would be to utilize the IR sensor in the Scalextric Arc system to count the laps, etc. This would eliminate the need for another device (Android, Android, etc..) to run the Smart Race Connect application and finding a good postion for it to track the cars as they pass the start/finish line.

The app is great when the ambient sounds work but unfortunately they don’t. My new phone speakers and the in app speakers are not muted. I’m out of $18 I bought this for my new phone smh

Allow at least one Ghost Car stats to register in a race.

I love everything about it…… It has 1 bug that needs addressed. If you are running weather during a race, when you go from wet tires to dry tires all cars go to 100% power and brakes (not the preset speed you had set on the cars).... besides that it works Awesome! Makes the racing experience Fantastic!
