I love this app, but the biggest issue right now is that it won’t let me restore my previous purchase. Desperately needs functionality to allow family members to add recipe ideas and also to add recipes to the planner. I can’t access the info that my wife has stored on her app even though she paid for it. It doesn’t allow for collaboration between family members. Would easily be a five star app if I was able to do this.
I've tried every recipe there is to offer I swear. I'm also just one of this people that when i decide i want to download an app for something, I download ALL the top one and then some and giv them a try. I can say with experience that this is an awesome app. That said as an avid user's I have some suggestions: Improvements: - Feedback option under settings. This is something I always recommend to apps that don't already incorporate this. A lot easier than leaving it here and less public. I don't want to give the impression there's any downsides to this app by suggesting what can be improved. - I wish the ALL boxes also had scrolling photos of the recipes and weren't just colored squares. - Would be nice if you could icon squares to small, medium, and large in the main window not just after you click on a category or course. - Being able to search recipes by ingredients, not just the title. I find myself making sooo many categories to navigate this which flutters up my categories. - Organize by othe than alphabetical order. Drag and drop to rearrange. Ideas: - Allowing me to pin suggestions under the recipe. Basically to pin other recipes to pair with that recipe. This would help make choosing sides easier. I recommend putting it under the "overview" section when creating/editing recipes. Jus like you can choose courses and categories, let you add other recipes. - Adding a "clean out the fridge" feature. Compounds on the search by ingredient. Being able to enter multiple ingredients I have in the fridge and it narrow down my recipes that use those items would be great for cutting back on waste. - A tracker to enter dates you bought items and when they expire. - User platform. Become friend with your friends. Set recipes to private and public. Share your recipes. A feed where I can post food I'm proud of. Forums where I can share recipes. This is a bit advanced and probably beyond the scope of apps creators intentions for this app.
THIS is the app I’ve been looking for! Meal planning, recipe scanning and importing, grocery lists…it does everything I’ve ever wanted in a meal planning app. I’ve actually started clearing out cookbooks I only kept for one or two recipes now that I can scan them directly to the app. My only request, and this is out of sheer laziness, is that there was a way to import/upload my grocery list into my grocery store’s app. (Unless there is and I missed it. I’m pretty new to the app.) I highly recommend this app if you’re looking for a central location to help make meal planning and shopping easier!
I like the features of this app, especially the ability to import recipes directly from websites. Unfortunately I don’t have $10 to spend on an app, so once I hit the 20 recipe limit I was really bummed out. But, they have an export recipe list option, which I used to make my own recipe book with a binder and some sheet protectors for <$5, and I can thank the app for inspiring me to make my own recipe book. And honestly, a $10 one-time purchase isn’t nearly as bad as some of the subscriptions for apps nowadays.
Best recipe keeper by far.
