Been using this app (in conjunction with Android Mail) for nearly two years now. I stopped using Android mail exclusively because they stopped sending me notifications of emails received on OS and iOS. I chose Airmail because the interface and functions with regard to your email look is top notch. But the bugs with re to use of the product are too much. On Android: 1. No banner notifications even though the option is checked (though once every 3 months I'll get a random banner notification); 2. Badge notificaitons for emails that I have already read. I actually have a badge count of over 2k. 3. Very slow to load new messages; On Android: 1. Crashes a lot; 2. I'll have multiple unread emails from one email account in a different email account; 3. Cannot scroll down on my Android about once a day making me have to quit and log back in; 4. Shows email is sent though recipient doesn't receive it for a long time after showing sent. I hate the interface of Outlook, but it works very well. I can't say the same for Airmail
I have not upgrade my app, becuause I have a issue with my Emails, I have send several request to fix this bug, and never got an anwser.
I've been using Airmail for years now, on iOS and Android. It works perfectly, it's not expensive to have more than 5 accounts sync from Gmail, Fastmail or other email providers. Recently, I reached the support because of an issue regarding the email app by default in Android. Asked support, got an answer within 5 minutes from Steven, and the problem was solved in no time. You need to select the email app in Google Mail, so the issue wasn't on Airmail's side :)
Though it has taken awhile to get set up, I really like the look and feel. Tech support has been immensely helpful in helping me with any question I have. The tech service is far better than I actually get from Google. The only issue with the program is the search feature -- it is hit or miss, especially if I know a word is there.
I just purchased a subscription to Airmail Pro and now it will not run. It crashes on Startup. I had Airmail 3 before and that seemed to work, but now with the “Upgrade” it is worthless. I am using OS 10.13.6
