Science News & Discoveries for Android

the first time i used app it looked promising! now when i open it (Mobile pro 11, latest os), i get an ad that covers the screen and has no way to dismiss it to read news. so now it’s useless.

Used to absolutely love this app!! Was my daily source for informative and intelligent science based information. Lately unfortunately that has changed a lot. Not only is the app BLASTED with annoying and irrelevant ads and click baits that give it a very cheap and superficial feel. I understand developers need ads to cover costs, but at this level it makes it feel like the app is just using science info crawled from other sources to get some ad revenue. Also like others have said in reviews there’s a lot of bots or fake accounts that immediately flag ANY science news about climate as Fluff! Doesn’t seem like those are actual opinion because they are super fast to flag every single post about climate. Seems like a joke and looses more credibility. Especially for a science app… Hoping it goes back to be the way it was as a more serious and relevant source for scientific information.
