Looks promising, but ultimately falls short
I like the approach with the pictures and different games. Ultimately though I don't think there is enough content for the price - I know next to no French and was able to work through the food section in less than a half hour. I would expect at least 2000 words for $10 - the app has maybe less than a quarter of that? Also the spoken words sound artificial... A human speaker would have been nicer. Sometimes the picture is really ambiguous, and there is no translation offered, so now I know the French word for, well, something that looks like a pop tart...
