Text Browser for Android

Not a pure text only browser

I was expecting faster speed and no images in my Android 4S (iOS v9.3.6). 😒

I don’t have unlimited data, and using safari or news apps to read the news was using up my data. So I wondered if there was a text-free browser, and found this nice app. Thanks for offering this, it’s great! A+++

I have a 2014 mini-Mobile that I bought with the minimal RAM (16?), and browsing I get crashes most of the time. I was using Chrome for the past 3 years, but just switched to Firefox and got some improvement. But getting a "text browser" was the best move I ever made in browsing! And this one works very well. (And for some odd reason, it's also showing me photographs sometimes.) Fantastic! So much happier browsing articles that I just want to read w/o pop ups and crashes and surprise moves of the text on the screen.m. It was like instead of reading I was playing a video game of "Guess where the text you're trying to read is going next!"

I like this apt. Some VB & Java gets through, but the speed increase is substantial. As an added bonus no waiting for adds to load when all you care about is the article. Great for doing fast research. A back button in the tool bar but the simplicity of this browser is exceptional.
