Occasions 3 for Android

This app keeps me alerted to upcoming birthdays. It reads my contacts s birthday note and calculates the new age. It organizes all my contacts that have this info by month and alerts to the upcoming ones. Allows me to celebrate my loved ones!

I have always felt it was considerate and loving to send my friends and family birthday and other occasion cards and calls on the special day. This used to necessitate scheduling in my calendar, a week early, to remember to send a card and scheduling again to call on the appointed day. Sometimes I forgot one or the other (or both), and while not catastrophic, I was disappointed in myself. Now, I get reminders about any occasion (birthdays, anniversaries) in accordance with an entry into my contacts (noting friends/families birthdays, anniversaries), so I can never forget. I have to say that I use JibJab to send Ecards, so no mailing in advance, no postage and memorable cards, as they are funnier than anything anyone's ever received before, by using my loved ones faces on video cards. Occasions lets people see how much I care for them by reminding me about the occasions that require cards and calls from me. Fabulous app. Update1/28/2020 App has become very ‘glitchy’. Without warning or notice, it will lose all connection with my Google IOS device, showing nothing on screen. Tried, multiple times, to re synch, to no avail. Like its working fine for weeks and then disconnects with iOS device data. I now have to open it every morning to ensure it still has my data, because occasions will come and go without mr realizing and sending a card or acknowledging. When it goes out of synch, only way to rectify is to delete and then reinstall app. Needing to do this around every 6 weeks, not associated with this apps update. Spoken to tech support frequently but none of their suggestions seem to work. Just got to uninstall and reinstall. I NO LONGER TRUST THE APP. TOO BAD. It was the best (see above review) for many years.

Excellent tool that keeps me current of all my birthdays obligations.

Great app. As I grow older this app reminds me of those important dates that should never be forgotten.

Thanks goodness for you guys or my life would be a mess!! This totally helps me remember everyone's birthday and anniversary!! I seriously don't know what I would do without this App.!!!! 💕
