I had written a previous review that was a while back and thought I would give this app another try so here is my new review. Before when I wrote my review I lost the In app purhcases that I made. They are back now without me doing anything, perhaps if I had waited they would have come back soon. The app works very well now my only complaint is that I don’t seem to be able to make individual labels on a sheet, it seems like allthe labels on a sheet have to be the same.
It’s free to make obscure barcodes, it costs money to make barcodes that you probably want to make. It works well for making asset tags.
THIS IS NOT A FREE APP. You have to purchase inapp purchases to make it even remotely useable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. IT IS WORTHLESS!!!!!
They make three versions… one wants $300, One wants $50 for a license and this one doesnt work properly unless you get a $15 upgrade. After paying for the ISBN upgrade… it doesnt do US currency when you got it through the US store … what good is that? The Help documents are from some other version of the software and the steps are different. It took two days to figure out that if you make a single lable on a page it will output an 8.5x11 sized eps or pdf (that wont open or edit in any other vector software program)… although they claim to be fully compatible with Adobe products. You can Place it in a layout program but its hard to size because the image is in the bottom right corner of the 8.5x11 page. If I cant get them to tell me how to make it US currency without paying them $300 for one barcode I too will be asking for a refund. The currancy code it inserts is Australian. They have not responded to several requests for assistance.
I bought this app's upgrade because it is supposed to generate ISBN barcodes for books. It did not work. I spent hours using their vague help menu trying to get the app to work. Finally trashed the app and asked iTunes for a refund.
