  • Careful you don’t get too much done.

With this app, when I initially used it I got my list done so quickly I had no reason to go back to it right away. So I suggest putting a few longer term items on your list to stay engaged with the app. Awesome job developers!

  • Good model but no updates

In this day and age of privacy breaches and in app monthly subscriptions, it’s heartening to see an app that adopts a user friendly approach. I applaud the developer for having the guts to take this approach in monetizing the app. But unfortunately, it looks like this model isn’t motivating enough for the developer, as there haven’t been any updates in over a year.

  • I really love this app, but…

I’ve been searching for ages for a good way to manage my to do list across multiple projects. GTD was always an imagined bonus, but no luck. This one is a gem. Simple, light weight, and a painless workflow—so easy to collect items quickly and process later. Takes a little getting the hang of, but no barrier. However…once I got the hang, I turned on iCloud sync. Ernest warned that things would temporarily disappear, but would then return. But they didn’t. I reconstructed everything from scratch, but still can’t sync between Android and Mobile. I sent requests for help for a couple of months, but no response. Ernest prefers that channel rather than criticism here, which I respect. But with no response, this is my only recourse. I would have rated this 5 stars, if only someone had responded. (I’d even be willing to pay for this app, if only there was someone there.)

  • App is ok

The app is ok. I couldn’t find a way to view all the tasks at once. Also developer is not responsive when I tried to contact him. This app could be great with a few tweaks.

  • Recurring tasks too buggy

I really love this app, especially the simple interface. But I find it too much of a pain to set recurring tasks, which are a major part of my workflow. To do this, you have to allow the app to link to your iCal, which is fine with me. But then it doesn’t load all the repeating event features of iCal. You have to pick a time rather than just a day and frequency; there is no option to set an “all day” recurring task. The buttons which allow you to choose frequency are daily, weekly, monthly, and then another button beginning “ti...” that runs right off my Mobile screen. There doesn’t seem to be a custom option, that would, for example, allow you to repeat tasks only on weekdays. Editing a calendar-linked task is also buggy. First, it switches off any repeat you’ve set, so you have to set that again. On some tasks, it refuses to allow me to change the specific calendar (within iCal) to which the task is linked. Setting a default calendar seems to do nothing. I don’t begrudge the developer the small fee as it’s a great app otherwise and I’ll keep checking back in the hope that these problems have been worked out, but for now I’m moving on to yet another task manager.
