File Rename for Android

All I wanted to do was remove the first 7 or 8 characters from the file name. Very Simple, at least you would think that it would be very simple for a file renamer app that you have to PAY for. Very disappointing! Waste of money!

…can't edit all the metadata, like 'Title' under more info.

The app doesn't have enough choices. For instance, you can insert a character before or after the 1st, second, third, or last " " (whatever other charactor you like, in this case, a space). I wanted to add a "-" after the fourth space. It is very goofy that a program with so much power and flexiblity won't let me do that.

This does what it says: renames a bunch of files very quickly and very easily. There are a lot of options and a preview so you can see what your files look like.

I had a simple file renaming job to do with a photo sequence and was faceed with a problem literally every single step of the way; 1st: You can't just drag and drop all the files into the app, you have to make a seperate folder first which is frustrating. 2nd: The interface is very unintelligent, the sections for naming things do not expand so you can't even tell what you are naming all your files if it is more than like 12 characters or so. 3rd: It randomly sequenced my photo sequence backwards and there is no selection to reverse this. I now have to go through and rename them all manually which is the exact thing I purchased this app for.
