Poor implementation and possible security risk

I would rate this app a 0 star if that were possible. Have to register on the website and then separately register the app. The app was recommended by our local E911 director but I don’t think he adequately reviewed it. When I tried to opt out I found that I could opt out of alerts, but there was no mechanism to remove your account data. The opt out site actually says that if you happen to login again, all alerts would be restored. This indicates that your personal information is retained by the company.

No way to silent community alerts etc

Also no way to change sound for missing person, each type of alert should have different alert. Notification about a picnic happening shouldn’t have an alarm bell going off. I just had to turn off notifications like that for this reason. Best of luck fixing it!

Harmful app not showing life threatening alerts

Massive alerts and thunder storm in my area in NC right now but app isn’t showing any of them and I know for a fact that our county is tracking and sending emergency alerts right now. This app doing harm to folks by not showing the life threatening alerts they need to know about.

Worthless

I get an alert sound but when I open the app there are no alerts shown. It does show I have x number of alerts but I’m unable to see what they are. As far as I’m concerned I have no use for this app so will be deleting it.
