I need to reset the transmission adaptations on my MINI. I downloaded the app and used an OBD adapter I had. A message popped up that it was able to do the job, but I had to order their OBD adapter, so I did. It arrived almost two weeks later due to international shipping, only to use it and have the app tell me that function is not supported. I email support which pretty much told me we’re sorry to hear that, here’s how you can return it, but they don’t refund return shipping. So I’ve wasted two weeks with my car stuck in the driveway when, had the app told me the truth from the start, I could have bought something else then. The email also included the unprofessional touch of smiley emojis.

App developers set two different schemes for purchasing the app, one within the app and the second is from their website. They deliver the same service via the Google App Store, however they rob you of you rights as a customer and refuse to issue return claiming that you gave up you right of request a refund. Instead of being keen to build a system that complies with the applicable laws, they try to shield themselves of the laws and confuse their customer about their rights. Moreover, work around Google app policies and avoid being subject to Google scrutiny and oversight. They accept app full payment on their website while still using the very same Google store app to deliver the same service you paid for on their website, with a gotcha, you are looked in and robbed of you rights. Shame on you fraudsters…. Edit: the developers response to roll the can down the road and shutting their customer up. They do not respond to support ticket and continue on their fraud. The response is to consider it for future enhancement. They run a scheme within Google Store and another outside while delivering services via Google Store platform. They do not comply with the platform rule nor with the applicable laws. Ticket number: 702403. Note I am also work with my financial institutions to get the app developer to conform with the laws of the country they sell this product in.

The scanner is ver easy to use. The scanner also tells you the code as well as what the code indicates. You can then (if you choose) click on a link which will automatically open a google browser that has more info regarding the code. The app is well put together and easy to navigate as well. Lastly, if you have any issues customer support gets back quickly and is eager to help.

For the price, Carly needs to put some work into this app. Coding option descriptions are vague. Diagrams or images would be extremely helpful. Not bad, but WAYYY overpriced for what you get.
