The UI of the app is a little counterintuitive, and it's slower to use than the web interface, but it's great to be able to download courses offline to a Android for watching on the go.
Hey Pluralsight, I enjoy learning on this platform a lot. Can you please fix issues with tv app? Once the video starts playing the controls are kinda hidden. And clicking anything would make it jump to a different section of the course.
Navigation, search and video controls are subpar. Why do I need to tap the screen to take the buttons disappear when the next video plays? on top of that the menus pop up and have no way to go back.
Courses structure are easy to find and cover many topics in software development. It would be nice to have more up to date content with Unreal Engine and Unity for games development
This is by no means a revioew of the content on the sight. The content is great. Lots to learn and do. The App However is clumbsy and not vvery intuitive to navigate. Getting back to where you left off is not visualy very simple. If you have several things bookmarkd you have to remember where you were and navigate to it or click through them all to see what ones have a check mark and what ones have yet to be watched. The most annoying thung for me with the app is whehn you move the mouse over the vidoe the the video controm,s pop up across the middle of the screen and it dims a little. Fot thos like me who use the pointer sometimes to follow along or to paus and rewind waiting 30 seconds or so after playing for the controls to go away and stop covering the screen is really irritating. Navigating backwards in the learning tracks is also clunky. Several times when tryung to hunt down where nI last left off I had to close the app and restart to get back to the main screen. I'm not sure why i keep coming back and looking at the app hoping it will be more friendly that the website but I do. If the developers would rather people just use the website than make a dummy app that just loads the webpage in a box and be done with it.
