Works great in Yosemite. This i my go-to App for quick conversions

This works great in Yosemite. I love it that it can now include subtitles in the final file. This is the best of the apps that convert the audio and container of video files to MP4 containers and audio compatible with the Android, Mobile, and AppleTV. I like how I can see what types of video formats, audio formats, and subtitles are in video files - be it AVI, MP4, MKV, etc. It is easy to examine video files to see if they can play on the Android - e.g. if it has audio as AAC up to 160 kbps (otherwise it won't play). It simply works great. Highly recommended. The developer has improved this app over time. It is currently rock stable and the best of its class.

Awesome app!!!

MKV2M4V is lightning fast. Handbrake took 2 hours to repackage / convert the same HD video when this only took 5 mins. I will deff recommend to others!!!

Subtitles .ttf files locked?

Transcoding an MKV to an M4V or MP4 works great. This app does that job well and it does that job fast. On my last review, I noted that the subtitle support did not work. This has been fixed - for the most part. Many animes and movies use a .ttf file to give their subtitles a font, font size, and look to them. These .ttf files are visible in the options, but are unable to be selected. Not being able to convert with these files results in videos with large, obtrusive subtitles - because the app uses default subtitle settings. I really hope this gets fixed - then this app will be PERFECT and I will be happy to give 5 stars and recommend it to everyone I know. I hope this gets fixed soon.
