MP3 Encoder for Android

I like this app; it’s does almost exactly what I need it to do. One thing I think would be handy, though, is the ability to add the item number in the queue to the filename (via Preferences > General > Use A Custom Output File Name Scheme) with a Format Specifier like {QueueNumber}. That way, when dragging a playlist to the queue, the output folder has the tracks are in order (the Metadata usually gets used instead of the filename so that number shouldn’t show up in the title once burned). Other than that, it’s great.

It encodes mp3s. It edits metadata. This is what I needed. Hallelujah! Update: I contacted the developer to report a minor bug and he replied quickly, fixed the bug, and even sent me a beta version to use until the next release. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

encodes X to mp3. that is what this does. and it does it very very quickly (multi-threaded), easily, and with lots of flexibility. and yes the LAME codec is quite good.

I needed an app to convert VBR to CBR since my Pioneer CDJ-200 wouldn't play them. MP3 Encoder worked perfectly and did that for me. Overall this app is easy to understand as well. 5 Star for working right out of the box.
