I use this app all the time and always does a great job and never crashes

I was looking for an easy way to convert FLAC files to AAC so I could import into Google Music. I was using some freeware but it didn't support AAC and required opening each song individually. What I really like about this is the setting that allows me to drag/drop a folder into the app and have it automatically add it to my Music library, complete with album art.

I bought this app for one reason. To convert some DFF files but it was unable to. After some searching Pine Player was able to and it didn't cost anything.

The best thing this app does is hang. It hangs after importing CD files. It hangs after importing each track. Force Quit can nudge the app - sometimes - to the next step of the conversion process. But mostly the app just hangs on my miniMac running High Sierra (10.13.6). Two stars for converting CD files to FLAC files and editing tags correctly, although it's a painfully slow tool to use on my system.

I've used this app for the better part of a decade and it is absolutely essential. I use it professionally and for my music library and it is totally indispensable for my workflow. Mark V also provides incredible support if you ever have questions or ideas. Perfect software - now in dark mode!
