Fabulous App for learning to read AND write Japanese Ideograms. I have been using this for a week and have found it very effective in learning the Japanese writing system! I initially downloaded this App b/c of the hiragana chart and was pleasantly surprised when I “tapped” the chart to reveal the hidden gems of this App! The brush stroke mapping of each character is super helpful. But the real star of this App is the ability to use your finger as a brush to draw each ideogram. Hats off the developer for keeping this straightforward and easy to use! <3
Just what I have been lookin for!I just wish the black ink had guided barriers like in the hiragana app I use. otherwise great!!
This is an AMAZING app for writing and reading (as in: reading aloud) the kana. It has the correct stroke order, and an opportunity to practice over a watermarked kana character. It also has correct audio pronunciation HOWEVER: this app is not built to help people memorize the kana, but once you know them, it's incredibly helpful. This is a great free app! Thanks so much!
