Great way to relearn Dutch

When living in the Netherlands, I learned to the A2 level. Just enough to get around, order food and understand basic Dutch. It’s been awhile since and I want to step up my understanding of the language and become conversant. Busuu provides me with just the right mix of vocabulary, speech practice and grammar that I feel confident in reaching my goal. So glad Busuu now offers Dutch!

Great language learning app!

It is one of the best apps I’ve used! I would depend on any app to teach you 100% of a language but this app is very helpful and a tool needed in language learning!

A very complete language app

Of all the language apps I have tried, I find Bussu to be the most effective for my learning style. I am near 100% through all of French and have started Spanish and Chinese. I like how the lessons correspond to the A1-B2 levels of CEFR (Common European Framework). It would be nice if the Chinese lessons would correspond to HSK levels. It would be nice to always see the pinyin alongside the Chinese characters, but you can easily toggle back and forth. Lessons for A1-A2 are well developed and consistent for most Latin-based languages. However, content starts to slightly diminish with a few errors once you get into the later courses B1-B2. If they can be more consistent, provide more content, and fix these minor glitches—I would give this app 6 stars! After 18 months, I have reached an intermediate level of French using the app as my foundation for grammar and basic vocabulary (I have not used a textbook). I plan to use this app for many years to come. Definitely worth the value!
