The Brainstormer for Android

Spinning the wheels makes a loud and obnoxious noise which cannot be disabled. I even muted my phone and the noise continued. There is no in-app option to change the sound settings. Also, the character creator is not free, though it looks like it is in the pictures they advertise with. I will be asking for a refund. This app is not what I thought it was.

8/10/29 No response to my previous review? What's up? 8/04/20 I have the old version of this app on my old Mobile 4. It works fine there and I have used it a number of times with no apparent problems. So I tried downloading it to my Android X about a day or two ago. But the phone locked up as soon as I opened the app! I panicked and tried to close the app. But it was not responding. The lock-screen of my phone was locked and frozen and I couldn’t get anything to clear. I turned my Android and the lock-screen turned with it. But the phone wouldn’t open up! I was still panicking. The phone was on the lock-screen and I couldn’t get into it in order to close the app! Finally, after several more tries I was able to get in and close the app. I don’t know how I did it. But I was relieved. Relieved, but not very happy. Somewhere along the line, I got a message that I needed to update the app before I installed it on my Google Watch 3. My memory is vague on when or how that occurred. So I can’t describe the incident in full. Maybe that’s because I was in panic-mode. I didn’t understand why, because I was installing the app on a newer device which is always updated. So why can’t I just download the new version of the app and use it on my Android? In any case, this was a weird experience for me and I’m not even sure if I want this app anymore. HELP!? I think. Previous Review: 8/02/2020 Will I lose any of the data I already have on the older version of this app if I update? I am eager to update, but I prefer to keep my data, if possible. If not, then maybe I will update anyway because I would love to see the new version! Thank you. PREVIOUS REVIEW Not sure if you want this app? I am. I added my own ideas to the wheels. It takes a little work, but the results are great. I did this because I needed the types of stories that would fit my style of writing. You should try it. It's a wheel of fun.

This software is too buggy to use. The customer service doesn’t seem to care. I bought the aap and two additional wheels. I was especially interested in the ability to make custom wheels. Waste of money. I’m very disappointed.

I like the app, but didn’t realize there were in app purchases for the world builder, character builder, and sci fi. However, the problem with the app is that the generator does a page flip about halfway and stays that way unless I restart the app. This is when it’s in the generator screen. Please fix.

It works great for what I want it for, but it’s VERY noisy. I have to turn my notification sounds all the way down, which is a problem, rather than having a simple switch to turn off the sounds. I’d also love if it could save combos you like to the app instead of having to share them.
