It’s okay, but could be better

This app isn’t as nice as Deliveroo (UK), or even GrubHub/JustEat. Or maybe none of the restaurants here know how to use it correctly. You can’t filter on what is available for delivery NOW. And you NEVER see when the food has left the restaurant and is on its way to you. So despite what the app says, you may get a knock on the door well before (or after) the expected time. Why make an app but then not use all the functionality? Also, there is a bug where the same item description appears on ALL the items for some restaurants.

Horrific customer protection

Was bullied after pretty good service for weeks - their delivery guy couldn’t find the right doorbell so he took it back to the restaurant, which claimed to have called me multiple times and made a second delivery even though the food status was not updated in app to even have received my order to begin with. I sent in screenshots of that and the lack of calls from the restaurant. Thuisbezorgd tries to make the restaurant refund me when it is clearly the app’s issue, then sided with the restaurant’s “story”. Customer support called me 2x and to live-check for their delivery guy outside, and there was nobody there. Not sure if I got scammed completely from the start. 0/10 I am switching to Uber.

Worst delivery app compared to competition

Easily the worst delivery service app in the Netherlands. Food tracker is rarely right about food arrival, constantly showing restaurants that are too far to deliver to you, and easily the worst customer service setup in modern history. While Uber ears and deliveroo have customer service numbers and easy refund system, Thuisbezorgd does everything via email and take literally weeks to respond. I ordered a meal and didn’t receive the drinks and requested a refund, just for them to respond 10 days later saying I didn’t order any drinks. Choose any other delivery app but this.

Removed app, delivery times are inaccurate

Today was my last time using Thuisbezorgd. Every time I’ve ordered it is twice as long as the original time, many times 2 hours! The delivery time will often change many times. It might say 10 minutes away and then bounce to 50 minutes!
