Synonym der Wörter ist dermaßen gut und wird die Niveau der Wörter investiert
I’m a beginning learner of German. I bought the online upgrade of this app and have so far found it very useful! Every entry has a list of different forms of the word, synonyms, etc. and examples in sentences. I also love the unlimited word lists that I can create so I can save new words I’ve learned. The AI chat is handy, if not all that comprehensive. The only problem I have is that some fairly common words such as “Bekannte” are not included. That makes me wonder how complete this dictionary is. I’ll probably need to find a bigger and more comprehensive one later. But for now this one suffices my needs for the most part. P.S. Some entries are confusing and I (as a beginner-learner) suspect erroneous. For instance, “ziemlich” is categorized in this dictionary as an adjective while it’s more like an adverb. Interestingly, the AI teacher also said it’s an adverb. I don’t know. I’d consult other dictionaries when there’re doubts.
Everything you ever wanted from a German dictionary app - everything I ever wanted anyway. You can filter by noun genders, by prefixes or prepositions, by A1-A2-B1-B2 etc. level. Lots of useful examples for most entries. If you type, for instance, “ha” in the search bar, first it will show you all the words that begin with ha-; scroll past those and it will show you words that have a prefix but whose root starts with ha- (like “erhalten”); scroll past that and it shows words where the translation begins with ha- Clear, extremely usable format The one tiny complaint I have is that if a definition has too many characters for the space, it ends in a “…” and as far as I can tell there isn’t a way to see the whole definition. Unless I’m missing something, which is quite possible. It has a lot of features I haven’t explored yet. Very grateful for this super handy and thoughtful dictionary
This app is be far the best language resource app I’ve yet used. I encourage the creators - time and motivation allowing, of course - to use their codebase to create more apps for other languages.
