Qustodio Parental Control App for Android

Don’t waste your money. I paid for a full year subscription and six months into the subscription. The app does not work. I deleted and reinstalled still not working

The design of this app is very good for a parent in this cyberage. Larger firms like MSFT,AAPL and GOOGL have some version of parental control but they are not very good (shame on AAPL and GOOGL) or not work on all main platforms. Unfortunately Qustodio is very buggy and will give you a dangerous sense of protection. The technical side is weak and customer support and response is abismal. It feels like a company that is either folding or in standby ( to be acquired?). Either way, not a great outcome for paying customers. 2022-10-05. The Activity Alert emails are not designed well for the frequent use by parents like me. Qustudio ignores that one receives many of them and that we want to know mainly WHO did WHAT and when. The current email has large and bolded font “Dear Mister Parent” as if that was the important part of the notification. Qustudio should study this and redesigned it.

Yeah, my son’s too smart for this app. Not the one we parents use, but the one you need on the target device. Even after accepting the Manager pop up to prevent it from being deleted. Going to try another alternative.

This is a waste of time! One you need to open every app on your child phone for Qustodio to see it. The. You can not place time limits on certain games while allowing use to others.

Tried installing after they took my $90 and they are directing me to settings/general/device management which has not existed on Android for well over a year. Doesn’t bode well for support or anything really
